The mighty Luke Sanger returns with a release by his psedunom Duke Slammer. Droid Boogie drops on the 8th June on his own Bonus Round imprint and as always is packed full of electro bopping, funk inspired noodlings.
The remnants of Lukes Anger sound can be heard throughout but Duke Slammer is very much it’s own thing with the emphasis very much on the dancefloor. Tracks such as Hello World and Hustle give more than a nod to the P Funk and there’s some great production elements throughout. I’ve yet to see how this be played out live but it would undoubtedly be shit loads of fun.
