As featured yesterday, KANE FM and Ninebar Soundsystem are teaming up in The Players Lounge in Guildford tomorrow night to deliver a serious sub bass assault on the mightly impressive Ninebar gig. KANE FM DJ Keira V, who is responsible for the night, was good enough to give us a write up on Ninebar, whats in store for the night and an interview she did with them on her wicked Elements show on KANE FM.
Ninebar Sound, 11 years in the making, is arguably one of the best if not THE best rig in the South East of England. From humble beginnings at free parties taking place in the leafy Surrey countryside, the Ninebar system can now be found smashing raves and club nights to smithereens with its soul shaking killer combo of “legendary Turbosound Aspect Series speakers and LabHorn Sub-Bass enclosures.
Amongst the well known events and venues where Ninebar has been the centre piece include the likes of Innovation, Moondance, Rotation, Birmingham’s Custard Factory and most famously, the Pineapple Tribe stage at the world-renowned Notting Hill Carnival, where it will be happily installed this weekend.
Before it jets off on its merry way to West London however, the massive Guildford based underground music station Kane FM will be giving it the send off it deserves with what they describe as a “Carnival showcase of bass” taking place at the town’s new & improved Players Lounge venue. Here, the finest DJs from the station’s Bass roster including Easy M, Subterra, Dozer, Clifford, Wizard Sleeve and the Random Scarves – not to mention the Ninebar boys themselves – will be putting this mighty beast through its paces and really testing how low the sub can go.
Be sure to get your Carnival weekend off to a great start this Friday 23rd August at the Players Lounge, Guildford – and while your at it keep your ears firmly locked into Kane 103.7 FM or kanefm.com.
