After his debut LP on Detroit Underground, Eddie Symons, aka nllptr [null pointer] returns for another slab of laid back analogue electro on the mighty CPU Records with his latest E.P. AFTRMTH.
Opening track LPC-10 sets the tone for the rest of the record, with 808’s, floaty synths and funky acid basslines featuring heavy throughout. The bass is actually what stands out most for me on the whole release, I absolutely love that modular sound. Standout track has to be Skyline, everything works so perfectly together and literally makes you want to reach for the sky.
Great release of straight up quality electro. Can’t argue with that really.
AFTERMTH is out now on 12″ vinyl. You can pick it up through CPU’s Bandcamp below.
