Happy 2014! Skirmish are hitting the ground running with a new feature, the Skirmix. This is a series of (you’ve guessed it!) mixes for the blog. Each mix will showcase the talents of DJ’s and producers from Ireland and abroad, who we feel deserve your attention.

First up, we are delighted to have Niki mix things up for us. The Limerick native has been wrecking dance floors as part of the Macronite crew for the last number of years and has shared the bill with the likes of Surgeon, Luka Baumann, Perc and Regis, just to name a handful. Last year saw her relocate to Berlin, a city whose techno credentials are well documented and one that I’m sure suits her to a tee. This mix delivers quality techno and showcases her take on tunes. Here’s what she had to say about it:

”Its been about a year since I’ve made a mix, so once I finally got my act together for this one, I was spoiled for choice, I really wanted to get some tracks in I usually wouldn’t when playing out, and in the end I was happy with the result! Hope ye have as much fun listening to it as I had making it, Enjoy!”
