The latest E.P. to drop for Californian label Liquid Geometry come courtesy of L.A. producer Uncon Sci. He’s a DJ and producer that has been making his name on the innovative Los Angeles bass scene for over 10 years and as with his previous releases, Tiger Mustache takes influence from an array of places and genres. Elements from the likes of Footwork, Crunk, Dubstep and Glitch can be heard throughout the E.P. with samples weaving over 808 snares.

There’s  a nice simpleness  to Tiger Mustache that gives it such a nice groove. While obviously very well produced it never tries to over complicate things with  indecorous time signatures and instead focuses on soaring melodies and solid beats especially on tracks like Wander Lost and Sexual Healer. It’s a  colorful release and the remixes by the likes of  Bleep Bloop, Sleeve, Austin Speed and Calculon, East Stepper, Foniks, and Mushroom Buttons add even more flavor to it.
