It’s always an absolute treat when null+void put out a release, and even more of a treat when it’s by electro don no data available. Having followed him for a good few years he always delivers quality electro, both on record and live with his off the cuff hardware shows. He joins the null+void family “with a four track EP of rugged, playful and effective electro driven tracks for the rave – ending in a blissful introspective 7am moment with title track The Night.”

The production on this is immense – from the swirling basslines of Oh Now Really through to the rigid beats of Yes Mate and quality acid and rave stabs of Traitor, while closing track The Night  leaves you bathing in soothing pads and synths. I absolutely love this kind of electro – blissed out and funky.

It’s an EP absolutely drenched in melody and is gonna be on heavy rotation in my speakers for the foreseeable future.
